CRASH KILLS ONE - An Alvord man was killed in a three-vehicle accident Friday afternoon on Texas 101 in Park Springs. Donnie Cowley, 65, of Alvord was driving a 2002 Chevrolet pickup south on Texas 101 about 12 miles north of Chico when for an as yet undetermined reason, the pickup crossed the center line and struck a northbound 2000 Chevrolet pickup head-on.
